This is Riva the day she was pulled from BARC and then 14 days later.
Her only treatment? Adequate food. The vet at BARC put down that she had neurological issues when she was taken in for an exam because she couldn't walk and never even noted her emaciated state. She now walks three miles a day and is doing well in training classes.They are trying to get the Mayor Bill White of Houston Texas, to do the right thing - find someone that will actually care for the animals at City of Houston Bureau of Animal Regulation and Control (BARC).
