Happy Gotcha Birthday!

Today is a special day its Molly and Shadow's Birthday/Gotcha Day from 2002 and Trooder's Gotcha Day.  While we dont know Molly and Shadow's real birthday and the Mom can't remember the real gotcha day, she says its easier to say October 12!  It is also Shadow's boys birthday.  Trooder was gotcha'd on October 11, 2008, but we roll them all together to make it easier.  So we have a BIG celebration!

Things have come a LONG way since 2002 for Mom and alla us. She's added new kittehs and doggies, lost a kitty, which we know TT is watching over us and made a big move to this Cranberry County. So let us all celebrate ALL weekend!

Wordless Wednesday with Toot

I cant believe she almost forgot my 8th purrthday!!

This was me, then known as Nowhere Man.  I was in a shelter in Grayson Kentucky

This is me now, at 8 years young!  We know that July 15 is not my real Purrthday, we probably wont ever know as I cant recall that time, but we do know it was the birthday of someone who helped save me when I was found in the feral cat group in Grayson County Kentucky.

So now lets celebrate -

Easy like Sunday afternoon

I'm enjoying the cool air blower and nappin today. 

I will try and get Mom to visit everyone but she's been busy lately - ill put my paw down to let her know I mean business!

Opps Mom almost forgot our Blogoversary

Its hard to imagine that in June of 2007, I started writing as TT's voice.  I miss her every day but look back at how much joy she gave me in the short time she was with me (a bit over a year).  The first few bloggers to ever comment were Scout, Max, Lee County Clowder , and Daisy !  Some of us keep blogging every day and some of us, well are like me - hardly do it any more.  I love to keep up with everyone's cats and fun but I found when TT died, a piece of my blogging fun left with her.  I tried to continue and I still try to post now and again to this day (  6 years ).

Life changed, we've added a new bean member,new cats and dogs, too.  I enjoy all of you on The Cat Blogosphere and think of each member as if I really knew them.  I might not blog much but I am not leaving.

I've been busy making product for the huge convention this month (June 21 - 23) so if I don't answer you right away I will answer you, as I always do.  Thank you to everyone who makes The CB such a fun, caring family of folks!

We are so excited to say that Toot has been wif us for one whole year. This is the day the mom went and picked her up from the shelter and because she fell in love with her from there on it will be remembered as Toot's Gotcha Day!!

The Mom failed in her posting lessons

First off, the mom promised us a post at least once a week. THAT did not happen! So then we said hey Mom gives us time at least once every other week.  Guess what else did not happen.  Mom FAILED!

So we shall update you now.  Mom has been busy with her business and trying to find ways to get more business.  We've got our paws crossed acuz we really like our stinky goodness!

Toot is doing ok.  She went to the eye man and he confirmed that she is indeed blind.  While the mom is still in denial about that she will always love us with whatever issues, difficulties and handicaple stuffs we has.

Soar high Tigmut'hep

Tigmut'hep or Tigs was one of the first bloggers we met on The Cat Blogosphere.  He was a sleek panther mancat whose love was catnip and his boy.  Tig's was The Boss! 

Tigs has passed on just today and we are all sure his Mum and Boy are furry upset.  His last post was when we sent some seeds for him to nip out on and that is how we shall remember hims.

Can we ask fer purrs?

Some of you may know that the Mom, volunteers at a no kill shelter with the blurp and the Big Guy. Last weekend it was discovered that the shelter has an outbreak of Feline calicivirus. So far 6 10 cats have either died or had to be put to sleep because of this. The Mom can't volunteer for fear of bringing home this cat flu, that is deadly, to us cats.

The shelter is doing everything possible to get this under control so that they do not lose another cat to this virus. A dumpster was donated so that ALL the cat trees, litter boxes, scratching posts, bedding, etc could be thrown out.  Could we ask for some purrs, prayers, good vibes - anything for the cats at Center for Animal Rescue and Education, southcoast ? We know all the volunteers and directors there would appreciate it. The Mom loves those cats as they were her own.

 So The Mom feels helpless and can't do what she loves there, so can you guess what she brought home to FOSTER????
