This is Riva the day she was pulled from BARC and then 14 days later.

Her only treatment? Adequate food. The vet at BARC put down that she had neurological issues when she was taken in for an exam because she couldn't walk and never even noted her emaciated state. She now walks three miles a day and is doing well in training classes.

They are trying to get the Mayor Bill White of Houston Texas, to do the right thing - find someone that will actually care for the animals at City of Houston Bureau of Animal Regulation and Control (BARC).

Here is what we can do! The mom is going to send a few pieces of Jakes kibble in an envelope to tell dis mayor we care, would yoo do that too? For more information go to Feed the BARC Dogs Now! Mancat Monday w The Introoder

Hai! I'm still new at this but Shadow said give it another try so I will! I just wanted to tell yoo a few new things that has happened since I came here.

• I has discovered that they has the best catnip! Shadow showed me how to eat it off a plate and that is the bestest way EVER!
• When I first came here, my limp was very bad. But now the mom lady person says it doesn't look like it bothers me as much.
  
• I am running! I run from room to room and get all excited! I didn't run much when I first got here.
• I am learning to play again! The mom lady person has watched me run around and bat things. She also saw me scratch at something up in the air. This is new for me here at this house.

I really love it here (well except for that mutt!). I still haven't told the mom lady person my name yet. She calls me different names to see if I answer but truthfully, I won't come to a name that isn't mine. But yoo know, I do come when that big male guy calls me "Thump".
