Hello Kittys!

The mom lady bean has been busy doing something called shopping. Do you know that you can shop right from where you sit? She does a good job of it we all think, because she hasn't thought about doing the blog today. Well, Shadow and I sat down with her and had a talk. We rarely blog except on Mondays so we think she really needs to keep up with that.

Molly said we should put the bitey on the mom lady bean for forgetting. I give her bites anyway just because I CAN! hehe


So todays Mancat Rule is : When the mom lady bean has shopping to do, nap and then nap some more! (After you let her know she has to keep up with your Mancat Monday blogging!)

Frootbat Friday

I has only 3/4 frootbat today. I gots lots of turkey and drippings fer dinner last night. And and and I gots so excited I farted in Dad's car and he thought I pooped in there so he had to pull over and check

The mom lady person is trying to catch up with awards and meme's so we is goin to do that today.

1. Molly and Shadow do not eat any bean food, they used to when they was little but don't like it any more.
2. Jake pretends to be asleep on the bean bed at night, when he hears the big male bean say "Jake time for Jakes bed." He really is awake and sneaks peeks out of the corner of his eyes.
3. Trooder is still da only kitty dat likes stinky goodness.
4. When Jake does something bad, he runs to the mom and hides behind her so dat the big male guy wont be heard. We fink it doesnt work acuz we still hear the bean guy.
5. Shadow drools when he kneeds.
6. Molly won't sit on her girl beans bed wifout the correct kneedin blanket in place.
7. Trooder sits on top of the mom and stares at her while he falls asleep.
8. Trooder had his own fanclub on the petfinder forums!

Today we is goin to celebrate the brave kittys and woofies dat got to travel to be home from Iraq.


You all know the story about Ratchet the woofie who almost did not get to come home to the USA to be with his bean lady mom Spc. Gwen Beberg.





This is Hope. Dis pretty calico was found by a guy bean Bruce who is an American contractor in Iraq. Hope was da first kitty to be rescued by Baghdad Pups. If yoo click on her piccy you can find her whole story.


This is Jasmine, the second kitty to be rescued. She was found in the ruins of a home by soldiers. Jasmine was the only survivor after her mom kitty and 2 litter mates were killed in a fire fight. If you click on her piccy you can find her whole story.


This is Miki. Miki is da 3rd kitty to be rescued. Miki decided to befriend soldiers there but they were threatened by the base leadership dat Miki wud be euthenized. If yoo click her piccy you will find her whole story.



This is Tom. Tom was found with a rope around his neck and struggleing for air. It took 2 soldiers and a big bad kitty fight to get the rope off his neck. (They cheated, they used TUNA!) Click the piccy for his whole story.


Here's the deal folks. The US Government prohibits conduct that compromises characters and morale. This means if a soldier befriends and helps an animal while at war the military WILL confiscate and kill the animals rescued by our troops. The soldiers who breach the policy on pets face the threat of serious punishment, including reduction in rank and court-martial. You CAN help!! Sign this petition to change the military policy about animals! (The mom lady did, she is #22,491.)




And did yoo also know dat only 204 of the 4,000 dogs that served in the Vietnam War survived. John Mayo had 2 dogs in Vietnam wif him, one killed in action and one NOT allowed to go home wif him but was euthanized. Now he has a traveling war memorial that let's beans know of these dogs.

Sadly though, the military considers war dogs as surplus equipment to be left behind or euthanized when conflicts end. It wasn't until November 6, 2000 that an adoption policy was put into place by President Clinton that ended that military policy.

Fierce Fighter Day

We is postin two fings today. Jake of course had to have his FROOTBATS done so we lets him. Now on fer da MORE impawtant stuff -

Whiskers & Purrs are sponsorin’ Fierce Fighter Day today in honor of Felix and all of Those Who Came Before who fought illnesses or any other struggles.


Fatty was the mom's stray kitty dat she was trin to get to be more of an inside kitty. Fatty was a good kitty and even wud come inside to sit awhile.


Then the mom noticed Fatty was not so healthy and tried many times to get her to a v-e-t.


Eventually the neighbor bean helped wif dat and it was discovered too late dat poor Fatty had FIP. The mom still misses her lovely stray kitty who lubed the mom and trusted her completely.


TT had kidney disease. She hadid it fer awhile, the v-e-t said dat she more den likely hadid it before the mom found her. In March the v-e-t told the mom dat TT's kidneys were not well.


TT held on, despite the v-e-t sayin she only hadid 2 weeks at most. TT never told a single kitty on the blogosphere acuz she wanted to be happy all to the end wif em all. TT's last days were spent at home wif mommy bean. (The mom's eyes are leakin really bad now so we's goin to end this.)

I has been hiding out lately. Thats acuz I didn't like the change in the house but I'm gettin over it, sorta. But while I has been hiding I has heard this -

2. Troo just attacked me! - The mom after Troo attacked her feets from under da bed!
3. Come here Molly, yes good girl, its okay. - I didn't want to sit wif my bean girl acuz JAKE was always sleepin on her bed at night!

5. Who wants nip? - Well D'UH we ALWAYS want nip!!
6. Awww, Troo this is doggie food, do yoo want sum stinky goodness too? - The mom has become weird, yoo never ask us if we want it, just assume it!!
7. No Jake, yoo can't go fer a ride right now. - *bwah ha ha ha ha* He thought the cute lookk wud get him time out in the metal machine.
8. JAKENOKITTY JAKENOKITTY JAKENOKITTY
9. Is that Shadow and Troo sittin next to each other on yer bed? - The mom askin Shadows boy if dey was sittin next to each other. D'UH yoo saw it didn't yoo the mom??
10. I need a nap. - The mom after what she said was a long day. She shud just nap when we do, we fink!
11. JAKE leave Troo alone! - Need we say more? Jake finks Troo should be chased. Troo finks dat hissin at Jake will work. It doesn't!
12. Oooooooooo man, why yoo got to scare me wif the water?? - Troo after he gotted the squirty bottle fer sittin on the table.
    
13. JAKE! NO ! NO KITTY!! BAD JAKE! DON'T CHASE THE KITTY! - heh heh Thats it the mom, yell at Jake more, we like to hear that!

Mancat Monday

Guess what kittys! I has finally decided that I will stay with this mom lady and the rest of the beans here. So in doing that I has also decided to let her know my name!



I started to like the name Thumper that the big guy was calling me. But then the mom lady started calling me Troo (said like True) which she said was short for Trooder. I really like that sound when she calls me that. I told her she was right that my name is Trooder, but that Troo sounds really good!

Shadow has been kind to me, and let's me blog on Mondays but I don't want to take his place. So for now, I will only blog part time but let me tell yoo, I LOVE IT HERE!!!

Tattle Tale Tabby Tuesday

Some tales this week... The mom swears The Introoder is part Meezer. Why yoo ask, acuz he talks ALOT. He talks to himself, he talks to me, he talks to Shadow, he even talks when not a single furry or bean is awake. I fink I am begining to like him by the way, we even rubbed noses one day. Jake is still workin on gettin The Mom to get him his own blog, we just don't see it going to happen though.

*sigh* Kittys, the mom is not herself lately. She is furry tired (we fink its acuz she has lots of thoughts goin on in her brain).


So I is goin to post sum awards we gots and hopes dat we got em all. If we missed one dat yoo gaves us, let us know and I will make sure it is put up.
